2.      여호와께서 여호수아에게 이르시되 보라 내가 여리고와 그 왕과

         용사들을 네 손에 넘겨 주었으니
3.      너희 모든 군사는 그 성을 둘러 성 주위를 매일 한 번씩 돌되 엿새

         동안을 그리하라
4.      제사장 일곱은 일곱 양각 나팔을 잡고 언약궤 앞에서 나아갈 것이요

         일곱째 날에는 그 성을 일곱 번 돌며 그 제사장들은 나팔을 불 것이며

5.      제사장들이 양각 나팔을 길게 불어 그 나팔 소리가 너희에게 들릴

         때에는 백성은 다 큰 소리로 외쳐 부를 것이라 그리하면 그 성벽이

         무너져 내리리니 백성은 각기 앞으로 올라갈지니라 하시매

2.      Then the LORD said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into

          your hands, along with its king and its fighting men.
3.      March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six

         days.
4.      Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams' horns in front of the ark.

         On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the

         priests blowing the trumpets.

5.      When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all

         the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse           and the people will go up, every man straight in."
